On an early morning in 2017 I awoke to the now all too familiar sound of an object hitting a chain. It was then that I was introduced to the sport of Disc Golf. I followed that sound only to find my neighbor practicing putting in his backyard. When he loaned me some discs and took me out on a course, I was absolutely addicted. Since then, I have played every chance I get despite rain, snow or any kind of extreme weather. My excitement for the game has lead me to courses all over the country. Each of those courses present new and different challenges that motivate me to continue to develop my skills so that as I compete in more tournaments I can get better and score a better rating. I am always looking forward to what lies ahead but in the meantime, I am thrilled that my enthusiasm for Disc Golf has spread to my family, friends, and coworkers who are just beginning to appreciate what an incredible sport Disc Golf is.
