How long have you been playing disc golf?

Started in 1995 but was inactive 2008 thru 2019.

What are five discs you ALWAYS have in your bag?

Koi, Intetcrptor, Binx, Halo Tern, Firebird

What is your favorite disc golf course you've ever played?

3 favorites. Jenkins Mountain in Washington VA, Rock Hill SC USDGC layout and on an extinct volcano in Auckland NZ

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

My wife and I started, own, and operate the BBQ equipment manufacturer 270 Smokers. We also travel together to compete individually in competitive Steak Cooking events where we are both currently (mid 2022 season) ranked near the top nationally.

Who is your favorite disc golfer and why?

Although I am a big fan of many of today's players and an even bigger fan of Legends like Ken Climo and Juliana Korver, I am beginning to think I am mostly a fan of the hard working local and regional players who are developing courses and relationships in their respective communities. I believe these are actually the ones doing most for the sport and, from my years and travel, I know too many of them to even begin to list but they are the real backbone of our sport.

Where do you see yourself as a disc golfer in 5 years?

I am getting older (okay in disc golf years I an ancient) but I intend to compete in whatever appropriate MP age division I can seeking trips to the PDGA Worlds. I also really enjoy introducing, teaching and working with newer players and will continue as long as I play.

Anything else you want the world to know about you?

I love this sport not only for the competitive challenge (wanna play a round for dollar, dollar, dollar ;-) ) but also because it doesn't matter who you are or what you believe as long as you just show up at the course with your discs, a good attitude and, as Aretha sayes, just a little respect. Leave all the other baggage behind and let's throw some discs!
